Our products are designed to age incredibly well, and this is an important part of our sustainability. We want our products to last, to pass on their history from one generation to the next.

Producing furniture and accessories at the highest quality, strength and safety is extremely important to us. To ensure this, we test all our products throughout the entire development process.

We test on factors such as stability, durability, and safety for domestic use, to a level that meets or exceeds the highest furniture standards within the industry.

The Ultimate Noble and Renewable Wood

The ultimate noble and renewable material, all our wood is sourced from responsibly and carefully managed forests compliant with the EU Timber Regulations and the Forest Law Enforcement, Governance and Trade (FLEGT) Action Plan.

Much of our oak is sourced and processed in French and Serbia. Since 2013, rosewood has been a protected wood species according to the UN Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora (CITES).

Our Sustainability Commitment

With full control over the (re)design, production, distribution, refurbishing and recycling processes, we are in a unique position to contribute to a sustainable shift in the industry. We believe that durability and sustainability start with choosing the right quality material, and wooden products are particularly suited for refurbishment.

For the next 25 years ahead, we are developing a new vision for sustainability based on designing for circularity and lengthening product lifespans. We know that we are embarking on a long, ambitious but imperfect process, in which every small step counts as much as the big decisions.
